Guide

For patrons of the Library

The interlibrary loan (ILL) service is offered to all patrons holding a valid library card from the UNLD.
Requesting a book from a Hungarian library has a charge: the cost of returning the book to the domestic supplier library is paid by the patron (based on weight 0-250 g: 465 HUF, 251-500 g: 650 HUF, 501-750 g: 915 HUF, 751-2000 g: 1080 HUF, parcel 2-20 kg: 1115 HUF). There can be additional charge if the supplier charges for sending the document also. The service fee of books requested from abroad is 4500 HUF/volume plus the cost of returning the book to the domestic intermediary library. Periodicals are non-circulating, this material may be requested scanned or as photocopy, the patron has to pay the cost of scanning, or copying and sending the article requested. Libraries can deny fulfilling requests. Please send your request filling out an online request form on the homepage of the Library. If it doesn't work, you can ask for the service personally or via e-mail.

Interlibrary Loan to Libraries

Foreign libraries can borrow materials from the University and National Library of Debrecen through the National Széchényi Library, Budapest.
